Learning Day Trading

learning day-trading?

Hi guys, I want to get into the day-trading business and since the industry is relatively new to me I'd really like to pick-up a few things before starting. I bought a few books related to candlestick chart, chart pattern, and technical analysis. What would be a logical sequence for mastering these skills? Thank you for your answers in advance.

  1. Because of your questions, I assume you aren't an active trader now. Day trading is no place to learn. What you need to do is learn to trade on longer time frames, like weeks and moths and learn about daily charts. Then gradually shorten your time frame until you are day trading. Day trading is hard enough even if you understand trading because of the quick decision making required.
  2. if your trading method is sound, it will work in all time frames, be it 5-minute day trades, or swing trading for days to months. Open a demo trading account, then trade that account as much as you want. You need to know when to trade and when not to trade using one or two indicators/oscillators. I learned how to trade trading five minute charts. What's good about smaller time frames is that your losses are smaller, more manageable. Given time, and if your method is sound enough, you can trade longer time frames. good luck! http://homeruntrades.blogspot.com
  3. experience is one thing that you require
